5 Current Goals

  1. Read at least one new book a month
The current book I’m working on is “Are you there vodka, it’s me, Chelsea. Good Reads describes it as “In this hilarious, deliciously skewed collection, Chelsea mines her past for stories about her family, relationships, and career that are at once singular and ridiculous. Whether she’s convincing her third-grade class that she has been tapped to play Goldie Hawn’s daughter in the sequel to Private Benjamin, deciding to be more egalitarian by dating a redhead, or looking out for a foulmouthed, rum-swilling little person who looks just like her… only smaller, Chelsea has a knack for getting herself into the most outrageous situations. “ I haven’t read too far into it yet as I just bought it night before last but I have already had a few laughs about it. There’s only two weeks left in the month though so I better get reading!
  2. Start earning additional income through side hustles
I have a few ideas for this. I have come across some websites like Fiverr where you post somewhat of an ad pertaining to what you’re willing to do for $5. You can do anything be agreeing to make a YouTube review of a product to creating a digital graphic for a website. My other ideas have been relatively simple such as having a yard sale and selling some items on Facebook groups that have been designed for those purposes.
  3. Work out at least 3 days a week
This really shouldn’t be too much of a struggle for me. I was at one point working out 5-6 days a week but lately I have been lacking motivation. I have my bags packed for the gym tomorrow though so I will be prepared. As long as I get in my car and just make that right turn I know I can get back in the swing of things.
  4. Eat breakfast at home and bring my lunch to work every day
This will probably be the biggest challenge for me. I have been having a difficult time getting up in the mornings lately so I will need to do some prep work in order to succeed at this goal on a regular basis. In preparation for tomorrow I have already made my lunch and will just need to grab it out of the fridge on the way out the door. The biggest challenge for me is always breakfast. I like having a nice warm meal for breakfast (my favorite meal) so getting up early is going to be required of me. Here’s to hoping I’m able to be successful doing so this week. ::sips wine::
  5. Blog at least 4 days a week
I have been brainstorming all week and coming up with great ideas for posts (not ones about me) and I will start writing them out tomorrow. Until I have a decent amount I will continue following the Blogging Challenge prompts that brought this into a reality.

Don’t worry I’ll keep ya’ll updated on how I’m progressing with these. What goals do you currently have set in motion?

There are lots of easy, make-ahead breakfast recipes to make your goal easier to accomplish.

Search for: baked egg cups, overnight oats, egg casseroles.

For lunch, I make all my food on Sunday and freeze it for the week. I do a lot of quiches, veggie casseroles, stuffed peppers, meatloaf + frozen veggies, etc.
